Melody Harmonic
Wouldn't you like to could you
Flash me that wide and potent smile
I think it suits you, Anne.
Makes me want to use my time
But this troubadour is weary,
my rhymes and notes turned dreary
Been like this for a long long time
Ships pass through this world, but you make me glad
We did collide
The kettle whistles tea is ready
Come sip with me for a while
Shared maginations running
Through this universe all wild
But this.
Now I'm loving you loving me
I hope you can see, you bested me
Baby you are more than just amazing
For better and for worse and here in every verse
I'm glad you're mine.

#21 By Kevin Thompson Beneath the haze on this pale blue dot My gaze is fixed on where I’m not From the night sky beam the beacons of light And I know that Ill go there, though maybe not tonight For between here and there may be oceans of black Ever-how-far must be a most worthwhile trek
The Hermit
Why am I a solitary man?
Why was I up and branded a solitary man?
Just one “because” for all the “why’s”
Just one “hello” for all the “bye’s”
Just I say it’s so
But then the what’s to tell,
Mostly no one. What.
Wait. I am thinking.
So trod the boots
laced on the feet of this…
Of this solitary man
That is an unfortunate narrative.
The story is yours.
The wording, subjective.
Perception’s rank, pure.
The power, subjective.
The waves, conspired.
Just to feel connected.
I used to think, to think I had, I had old Luci by the toe
But now I see I see I know he’s watching and laughing
I used to think, to think I had to think rigorously, bastards cloned me
Mostly I was tryin to run, runnin tryin to run switch switch switch switchery
All the stones, the robes and throws hasten the fall, the insanity
Wayward body snatches and the ghosts are rattling rafters
it’s for you, it’s for me, it’s to big for tv
I used to know, used to know I had, I had luck with proximity
But now I see I see They are all way to close to me
All the stoves and washer loads, temped bath, thanks to time
Soon, soon, maybe, I’ve got to be leaving.
